About the Firm and its staff ………

Mathieu & Co. is a certified public accounting firm established in 1999.  The Firm provides to its business clients a variety of accounting, taxation and consulting services.  Industries serviced include manufacturers, distributors, contractors as well as business service providers.  Tax planning, tax preparation as well as financial planning services are offered to both individual and business clients. The Firm also provides extensive trust and estate income tax services.

The principal, Errol Mathieu, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting as well as Masters in Business Administration from California State University Long Beach.  Errol is a Certified Public Accountant as well as designated as a Personal Financial Specialist by the AICPA.  He has extensive private industry experience developed over a twenty year period serving in a number of senior financial management positions.

Mr. Mathieu has served on a number of non-profit organizations’ executive boards.  He is the recipient of the Golden Orange Award by the World Affairs Council of Orange County for this long term service as Treasurer for this organization

Danny Siler is a Certified Public Accountant and tenured associate of the Firm.  He attended California State University Long Beach and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  Danny provides compilation and review accounting services to business clients as well as specialized individual tax services with an emphasis on real estate transactions.

Joanne Stubbs is a full-charge bookkeeper with over thirty (30) years’ experience in private industry.  She is highly proficient with both desktop and online versions of QuickBooks as well as other popular accounting software packages used by the Firm’s small and middle market clients.
